Hello! Welcome to my website!

I am a student-teacher-researcher in the Educational Psychology and Educational Technology department. I take an intersectional feminist lens in addressing gendered, sexual, and racial injustices and inequities in STEM fields. This approach is evident in my present work that uses a feminist view to understand women’s sense of belonging and persistence in computer science fields. My work is influenced by my own experiences as an Indian woman computer scientist and the masculine culture that is prevalent in the computer sciences across the globe. I am passionate about creative arts and I bring this creative outlook into my work in science education as a creative socio-cultural process of sense-making.

I look forward to exchanging views and new perspectives on STEM education.
